On Wednesday, which was a beautiful sunny day, we drove up Pikes Peak.
The road up starts out pretty level, but curvy.
Seems someone else enjoys the beautiful sites on Pikes Peak!
We drove up
and looked back down where we had just been.
It often seemed like the road ended right there in thin air.
If you look very close, you will see a rainbow right below the center of the picture below the whitest cloud point. 
And up and up to the very top, over 14,000 feet!
