BENCHES IN CRESTED BUTTE

Sometimes I get a kick out of taking pictures of a "theme." In Crested Butte I found lots of unique benches in addition to the regular slabs of lumber on chunks of logs or the quaint Adirondack chairs.

This bench is made out of car bumpers and other chrome parts, and it comes complete with a license plate.
These next two were carved out of a single log and then had legs attached.
This artisan must have had problems with people borrowing the benches for their own porches because they were all chained to the ornate iron fence in the background.
And this is a use for a wagon wheel that I've never seen before. The curved seats were actually quite comfy!
