Last Wednesday, while we were parked at the Air Force Academy, we took a day trip to Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods. It was very beautiful with a bright blue ski, white clouds, and interesting red rocks. I took quite a few pictures there, too, but will only share a few of them here.
When we left here we drove to Pikes Peak where I took the rest of the 167 pictures for that day. I'm still sorting them out, trying to find a good representation of going up, on the top, and coming back down. I should have them up tomorrow, and the ones from today's drive over Ohio Pass to Crested Butte, a very colorful and interesting town in the mountains north of Gunnison.
