I am busy reading the instruction book for my new super zoom camera, a Panasonic Lumix FZ28. I am so excited and can't wait to learn how to use it. I apologize in advance, because I will probably.......no not probably, I will, bore you with tons of photos! My goal is to be able to take decent pictures by January when we go to Florida where I will have beaches, ocean, and sunsets!Wish me luck!

Man, that is an awesome camera!!! I can't wait to see pics, so bring them on. An 18x zoon should be really good and you won't have to stop and put other lenses on, so it will be better than a SLR. You did good girl, go forth and produce!

Oh -- I think you are going to LOVE that camera! Just last night a friend in Grand Forks was showing me the pictures she took in Kentucky, and she has that same camera! I kept commenting on how great the pictures were -- you could see the detail in the outdoors/nature pictures, as well as the details in the people pictures -- right down to the eyelashes!
I'm jealous, but I can't wait to see the pics you share!
