KISSING THE FACE OF GOD

My scanner doesn't work with this computer so I took a picture of this Christmas card.  Isn't it beautiful?  Mary is pictured as the young girl that she was.  Just think about the words to this song.  She kissed the face of God!

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Has come to make you new;
This Child that you delivered
Will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Has walked where Angels trod?
When you kiss your Little Baby,
You kiss the Face of God!

Oh, Mary, did you know?
Oh, Mary, did you know?

The blind will see, the deaf will hear,
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak
The praises of the lamb!

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Is Heaven's Perfect Lamb?
This sleeping Child you're holding
Is the Great I Am!

One of my favorite Christmas songs..the other is What Child Is This? Sounds like God is patting your daughter and son-in-law on the back! How cool is that!

Linda, isn't that awesome? Yes, people notice!

I, too, love What Child is This. But I guess I love most of the Christmas carols! Hard to pick a favorite!

Wishing you and Chuck and the kiddos the most Blessed Christmas possible!

I love this song, we often sing it at church during this season, my next favorite is O Holy Night, when we get to the refrain of Fall on your Knees, I get tingly
Peace to you and yours - Lynn

I have to say this is my all time favorite song for Christmas, or really any time. I just love how you captured the Christmas card with a young Mary and having the honor of bringing our Savior into this world, then kissing his face so tenderly. It is a peacefulness that I need right now.
