Our landlord/neighbor was out bright and early this morning, cleaning up the first round of this storm. It's calm and peaceful out there right now....the lull before the next round.
It sure is beautiful out there. It's the actual winter wonderland. Sure wish I had time to go for a walk!

At least you will have a white Christmas! I remember many years wondering if we would have snow.
Down here in Iowa we have had rain all day today (Thursday). In fact, the ice from last night is pretty much gone. However, tonight the temps will go down and all that water will turn into ... ice.
The Iowa Highway Patrol is warning people to stay off the roads tonight and western Iowa is already freezing up.
We are hearing that we could get about 8 to 12 inches of snow here in central Iowa and that northwest Iowa could get up to 18 inches!
Here we go ... again!
