Away in a manger, no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus lay down His sweet head
The stars in the bright sky looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.
The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes
But little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes.
I love Thee Lord Jesus! Look down from the sky,
And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.
Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And take us to heaven to live with Thee there.

That was my song to sing every single year at our Church Christmas program when I was a child and I still love it.
Merry Christmas my dear friend,
Love Robbin

Merry Christmas, dear Robbin! I am like a child when it comes to Christmas songs, and Away in a Manger is still my favorite. And I tear up every time I sing it. I think it was probably the first song my mom ever sang to me!

And Merry Christmas to you too dear friend! I hope you had a wonderful day! We had a house full, and I am so lonely now that they've all gone!

I'm so glad I've met both of you this past year! You've become such good friends!
