Stay inside and stay warm today! Down here in Iowa we are going to get an ice storm this afternoon and then snow tonight! Oh well... the one good thing is that weather like this means we keep our peaceful little state and don't have lots of tourists!! Heh!
I really like the pictures of the country church and the former homestead. We have lots and lots of both here in Iowa and I like them a lot.
I sometimes seem a bit harsh about our weather and surroundings, but I would never want to live anywhere else. I guess when you grow up with something it is home and that is what you feel most comfortable with.
So, yes, we will have our snowstorms and hail storms and tornadoes and heat and cold - but we can always visit a different place if we want! I am happy you are going to get to see Florida in just a few days!!
Take care and maybe bring some of that Florida sunshine and warm weather back with you!
