TA DA!

These are Christmas fabrics with almost a vintage look to them. I like this table topper, even if I did put it together wrong! I just ended up with the pinwheels and squares opposite of how it was supposed to be. But when you're working with triangles anything can happen, and most of the time, if you are consistent with your mistake, it turns out fine, just not the way the pattern looks! I will be cutting out two more today, getting ready for another sewing marathon.
And this is why I am inside at the sewing machine. I am already sick of the gloomy skies of November, and next spring is a long way away! I guess that's why we're heading to Florida right after Christmas. The cold I can take better than the depressing sunless skies.

Well I'd never known you put it together wrong, if you didn't say so. I hope Florida will be warmer than we are at the moment, lots of sunshine here, but cold! MY head is cold, so I am wearing a stocking hat inside! Feels good too. I long for hair!

I still can't see the mistakes, of course I don't know what I am looking for. I sure think it is pretty. Man what a picture of your gloomy sky....looks like it could all break lose very quickly!
Enjoy your sewing time.

We haven't seen the sun for so long here in Minnesota I think I've forgotten what it looks like. We're headed southwest for the winter and wish we could go now, but will also wait until after Christmas. I'm so jealous of the time you're spending at your sewing machine. Mine has a thick layer of dust on it because I've got too many other irons in the fire right now.

Oh, I'm so sorry it's dark and gloomy...if I could push a little of our Califonia sunshine your way I certainly would..we are still in t-shirts and flip-flops!

You will have to let me know where in Florida you will be.

Yes, it has been cold here. I actually had to turn on the heat the other day. The temp in the house said 68 but for Florida that is cold. In Washington that would have been warm. Funny how things are relative to where you are.

Doggies love to cuddle when it gets cold so they have been under my lap blanket with me when I sit on the couch. It is almost like they are wathcing me putz around thinking "will you please sit down so we can cuddle".

Back to work.

I hear you, Marge. The sunless skies are just so hard to live with. I am only going to Florida for 10, but I like to think that a month or more are in my future!! We will be in the Ft. Myers area at the end of February. Three month away... sigh...
