DAY SIX: SUNSET ON THE 17TH FLOOR

We have been gone from home for 6 full days, and have already been here in Florida for 3 nights.  Today was the most fun we have had so far.  We went to visit my cousin Karen and her husband Dave at the condo they are staying in for a couple of months, right on the beautiful beaches of Panama City Beach.  Oh, what a nice time we had!  Thanks Karen and Dave!  And happy birthday Dave!

Their condo is on the 17th floor.  What a view!
The whole wall on the gulf side is windows, these in the living room, and to the right, in the master bedroom.  Imagine waking up each morning to this view!
We were treated to wine, appetizers, salad, BBQ ribs, and sweet potatoes.  Wonderful feast.  And what a show outside!
There were no bugs, and the only sound we heard from 17 floors below us was the crashing of the waves on the white sand beach.
The sky changed with each passing minute......
....until the sun sunk into the water and went to sleep for the night.
It was a wonderful afternoon and evening, filled with good people, good food, and good sunset views!

Definitely worth doing again.

Looks beautiful there. We had snow flurries during the night and it's pretty dark and gloomy here.
