It was -27 with a windchill of -46 up in Alexandria. The school district called me before 6AM to let me know they were starting late. I homeschool, so I am not really sure why I care.
I just can't figure out WHY we live here. Our thermometer registered -32 this morning at 3 a.m. That coupled with 100 temps in the summer, high humidity and mosquitoes - there's got to be something wrong with our thought processes!!!
I don't know how you do it. I've been complaining about our drop into the 20's a few nights and now I feel really bad. You all are just tough!! It is beautiful though and I sure would like to make it that far north someday - may have to wait til things turn green. :)

Glad we could pass on our uber-cold down yonder. Bundle up. My family is so glad we can finally go outside w/out tons of layers!
