After seeing your post from the 25th with the picture of the cemetery filled with flags, I decided to run by the cemetery where my parents are buried and get Dad's flag and take it home. Yes, I guess I was going to steal it, but I wanted it for sentimental reasons. I was so disappointed to see there were no flags in the cemetery. I don't know if they were put out for the day and then removed or what, but I felt like crying as I drove away. I should have made sure there was one there in the first place. I decided I'm a bad daughter.
These colors are WONDERFUL. But with you at the helm, I would have no doubt that it is going to be BEAUTIFUL.
And thank you so very much for the birthday well wishes. Can't believe I have not made the effort to get ahold of you and thank you. It has been very busy and that day just flew by. Not much happened for me, but I had the grand baby and we went to eat at El Chico's ....my favorite place. So thank you for remembering me!
Ha, ha...yes Marge I did stay up half the night re-doing my blog! Unfortunately my body is still on homework-overload time...and you guys thought I was kiddin'...hopefully things get back to "normal" soon. Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a beautiful Sunday ~
My husband and I retired on June 1 2006. We sold our house and are living in a 34 foot 5th wheel and traveling the USA. We are the parents of 7 great kids (ages 36 through 43)and the grandparents of 15 of the world's best grandkids (ages 6-22). UPDATE: We have now sold our big RV and are living in an apartment back home in Minnesota, close to most of our kids and grandkids. We still hope to travel, but it won't be a full time lifestyle like it was for 20 months.
My friend, Claudia, and her husband Bart, have written this book about their adoption journey, adopting 12 children. I recommend it for anyone interested in adoption, and it is a must read for those adopting from the foster care system.

Ah, just a tease huh? Well it is beautiful so far, I can't wait!
I love that button. I'm sure what it is attached to is just as lovely. :)
I know Robbin is going to love the bag.
