Okay, so this give away is closed. It was supposed to end at midnight, but because I forgot to look last night at midnight, I will accept the comment from this morning, and the comment by email, and as soon as the old retired Air Force guy gets home from golfing, I will have him draw a name so I can notify the winner. Stay tuned for the excitement!
I hope you all had a wonderful day on Sunday. I did. I had talked to one kid on Saturday, and I was blessed to be able to talk to the other six on Sunday. And I was so happy to hear from my sons that they were spending the day with their family instead of heading out to the lake for fishing opener. It seems that outside work was the plan for the day as two sons were involved in planting flowers, one mowed his grass, and one planted his garden. Daughter Gail spent the day with her two sons, and we visited a few minutes with daughter Kari , who greeted us in her new "moo moo."
The trees are leafed out, the tulips are standing proud with their brightly colored heads soaking in the sunshine, the lilacs are bursting into shades of purple, pink, and lavender, and the wild plums are spreading their intoxicating fragrance along the bike trail. Guess where I'm heading?

Sounds wonderful Marge, have a good day.
Well congratulations to Robbin with 2B's. But she MISSED the Kentucky Derby...so hurry and get it to her before the Preakness...it is this Saturday! Oh but wait, do you have time to make another one since you are out at the BIKE TRAIL???? We have had 18 days of rain....and more tomorrow. Someday I will plant some flowers!
Actually she is right on time. It takes a full year to plan properly to go to the Derby. I did it last year. Bought tickets the June before and planned all years. Two most important things are a good bag and sensible by stylish shoes.
