SUNSET

I was finishing up dishes tonight when I happened to glance out the window over the sink which looks toward the west. This is what I saw:
Off to the south a bit this was the scene
which soon changed to this
Looking straight west again was this
What a beautiful end to the day.

A day which brought the news that one of Ernie's older brothers had a heart attack this afternoon. He is doing okay tonight in ICU, and will be having surgery in the morning. We had just seen him on Saturday night at our great niece's wedding. We certainly don't know what God has in store for us, do we.

Wow, that is scary. I hope that all works out great for him and he has many more years left to enjoy this earth. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love your beautiful sky. Hey, by the way, I -35 is not THAT far out of my way. Maybe about an hour and a half. We could meet in OKC or something. Let's see if we can't make that work. When was it you were coming this way? Let's talk soon!

Oh what a beautiful sky...nothing better to end the day with. Sure hope your brother-in-law is doing OK...and yes, we just never know what God has in store for us...and aren't you glad?

Beautiful sky! Very, very nice.

Best wishes for your brother in law. No, we never know what He has in mind... quite beyond our power.

Though a cliche, it is good to enjoy every day and see the best in others.

Take care.
