FIFTY CENT FAT QUARTERS AGAIN!

Not too long ago I found these fat quarters at the quilt shop for 50 cents each. I bought them, and this is what I did with them.........
It's not quilted and bound yet, but it turned out kind of neat for a five dollar quilt top!
Well, yesterday I went to the same quilt shop, in the same sale basket, and found these for 50 cents each. The pink is funky suns, the blue is funky moons. And then a coordinating blue stripe completed the trio. Wonder what to make.....I can almost envision a baby quilt.....we'll see.
But first I have to finish this. Right after I check my camera to see what in the world I am using for settings! The fabrics are black and a bright, clear red, not the orangy red you see here!

How do you come up with your ideas? I don't have clue how to put fabrics together. You have such a knack for it. I can't wait to see what you make next!

These are gorgeous and you really do have a knack for putting prints and colors together. I love that quilt top made with those blues, greens, and browns. You always inspire that creative bug in me and make me want to drag out my sewing machine,...oh, if I only had the time! Meanwhile I'll just keep admiring what your hands are busy with! Drop in for a visit, there's a little something for you at my blog.

Happy spring ~

Man I so admire your talent. You have the eye for material and even behind the camera. You make it all look so easy. I wish I could sew. That would require me to learn how to take my machine out of the box!
