THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES

I cannot wait! This is one of my favorite books, and it's coming out in a movie in October. I think Dakota Fanning will do a good job as Lily. And as always, I wonder if the movie will be as good as the book. Usually they aren't.

So where did all the comments on this post disappear to? Interesting.

And now two came back??????

Oh I really liked this book, too. I am almost afraid to see the movie for fear it won't be as good... you go first and tell me! ;)

Oh yay! I loved it too. I think Dakota will be perfect too, she's from Georgia you know! (By the way, my stepfather is still waiting, they had another emergency, and my Mom is a mess and well, they say the Dr. will do it still, no matter how late. I wish I could be there for them.}

That's my fear too Linda! The movies are seldom as good as the book.

And Robbin, I just read your blog that your stepfather is till waiting. I can't believe it!

This is one of my all-time favorite books and I didn't know they were going to make a movie out of it...how exciting...like you, I think the books are always better! I'm so glad you stopped by my blog and introduced yourself...new friends are ALWAYS welcome. I am so sorry to hear about your mother passing away, losing someone we love can be so emotionally overwhelming...I hope God is providing you with what you need to heal.

thanks again for stopping by ~

Ok, I must be the only person who has not read it. Sorry you all. Someone fill me in on what it is about and inspire me to go get it to read!!!! Then I will make a comment about the movie? Fair enough?

I have to get this book and read it. I've heard of it, must make a trip to the libraray.

They are also making a movie from 'Nights in Rodanthe' by Nicholas Sparks. It's good too. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I was treated to an early screening of the film and it is wonderful!
Queen Latifah, Alica Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Sophie Okonedo and Dakota give breath taking performances.

Go see it!
It will be in theaters October 17th!

What happened? I posted a comment yesterday! I wanted someone to tell me a little bit about the book for I have NOT read it and just would like to know. I think I might be the only one in the world that has not read it!
