Plus putting up with all those people at the camp sites. Oh yes, you deserve fabric, lots and lots of fabric.
Stay dry, please be careful and enjoy your time.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12881554728710759245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27818112.post-83742167926222177082010-06-14T15:12:34.929-05:002010-06-14T15:12:34.929-05:00Are you telling me there's a group that meets ...Are you telling me there's a group that meets for fabric addicts? Where do I sign up? I was standing in my sewing room the other day, only able to turn in a small circle because there's so little room to walk or move around, and thought to myself, if I live to be 150 and sew every day, I'll never get through all this fabric. I definitely need help. Oh, and I also continue to buy more. But it's so fun, and I just think about how much fun my kids will have cleaning it all out when I'm gone.Memaw's memorieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03551836962653092248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27818112.post-72660598693877462312010-06-14T13:17:52.954-05:002010-06-14T13:17:52.954-05:00You would not be a true quilt person if you didn&#...You would not be a true quilt person if you didn't have a bunch of material!!! That...How many worse addictions could you have? That's how I look at my photo addiction. It's a creative outlet, and it brings joy to others when I share photos with them through shutterfly. oops. Is that an advertisement?

Your quilting is nearly a lost art, so the way I see it, besides bringing joy to those you share your beautiful projects with, you are preserving an art form!

How's that to help you see this for what it is? I think you're also teaching your grandkids to appreciate beauty and creativity and to use their time giving and serving others. Your gifts are true gifts, I'm certain.

We have a very nice little quilting store in our town, "Quilting on Main". Even though I don't quilt (except for three blue jean quilts some 20yrs ago), I just love to go in the store to see all the gorgeous colors. If you need another source, I think they're online! I guess that might make me an enabler?

Nancy in IowaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27818112.post-58309758802990363152010-06-14T10:33:21.503-05:002010-06-14T10:33:21.503-05:00I love your rationalization. The way I see it, you saved money! The fabric warehouse must be less expensive than a small town specialty fabric store. You would have purchased these fabrics at some time to finish your projects. So....money saved! I would call it good planning.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11432036684354771659noreply@blogger.com
